MM Cafe, Section 17, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

A humble little cafe hidden at the little corner right to the end.
 See! Get what I mean?
It's all the way to the corner, AND blocked by another part of the building.
The interior is very comfortable and suitable if you wish to find some place quiet just to chill and study or relax. It's not a very big place as you can see even from the outlooks, but it's pretty comfortable.
Apparently, MM Cafe's is known for their brownies.
The brownies has a really thick texture and is nicely accompanied by my favourite - VANILLA ice cream!
Most brownies I've tried outside are not as thick. Most of them has the normal chocolate cake texture. For this one, it really is thick and more 'chewy' than others outside. *thumbs up*
We also ordered their tiramisu. It's really soft and creamy, and has a little more coffee bitterness taste to it. Not a very strong bitter taste, but enough to cover up your tastebuds. Some people would enjoy it, I for one didn't really like it as much.

That's all. Tata.

The Twelve Cups, Beach Street, Penang, Malaysia

Hi Everyone!
My family and I had a trip to Penang some time back. We usually don't stop for desserts, but the sweet-toothed sister insisted and ta-daa!

Here we are at The Twelve Cups.
Notice the mini lanterns? Well, I have a confession to make. It was around Chinese New Year when we dropped by. And.. I was just too lazy to post about it then.
My family aren't from Penang, so we actually 'Waze-d' our way here hunting for mille crepe cakes. They have quite a number of varieties for mille crepe cakes, and also some other pastries.
The counter front looked pretty nice. I like the environment there.

We settled down for a nice slice of Hokkaido Chocolate Mille Crepe Cake & Tiramisu Mille Crepe Cake. We only ordered 2 to share because we already ate lunch before this.
Hokkaido Chocolate
Tiramisu
My favourite was their Hokkaido Chocolate Mille Crepe Cake. It was something different than the usual flavours and was really really good. Tiramisu was good too, but it isn't anything really special. I pretty much wished to gobble down the Hokkaido cake myself.

For drinks, we ordered cappucino and chocolate milk (I forgot to take a picture).
The chocolate milk tasted completely like iced dutch lady and was not worth it at all. The cappuccino on the other hand was pretty good (so the family commented for I don't really know how to appreciate coffee just yet).
I really like how they decorated this part of the wall.
Everything's just simple yet lovely.

Well, that's all about The Twelve Cups!

Delectable Treats, Pavillion Mall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Sugary sweet stuff is on the menu!
Here's Delectable Treats by Su.

My sister randomly brought home these two and shared them with me.
The one on the left is called 'Seven Sins Of Chocolate' and the right is 'Berry Treat'
The Seven Sins Of Chocolate consist of :
Dark Chocolate Tablets
Milk Chocolate Tablets
Powdered Cocoa Dusting
Cocoa Nibs
Chocolate Cream
Chocolate Ganache
Chocolate Cake

Cocoa Nibs are cocoa beans that have been roasted, separated from their husks and broken into smaller pieces

Chocolate Ganache is something that looks like this :
Oolalaaaaa.
Berry Treat consists of :
Vanilla Cake
Strawberry Preserve
Fresh Strawberries
Vanilla Custard
White-Chocolate
Strawberry Tablets

Both of these cost about Rm12, and they're really really good!
I prefer the Berry Treat over the Seven Sins Of Chocolate (because I fall for anything Vanilla), both are really yummy though, and sinful. Perfect as a treat to reward your good old self!

Alan's Place, SS15, Malaysia

Alan's Place!
I've heard about this place several times, but never really went to try it out until now.
Here's the menu :
They have some pretty interesting names for their dishes.
Sweet at the top, sour at the bottom, and just nice when mixed. Lovely.
Nachos!!!!! Nachos!!!! Nachos!!!!!!!
It's really all about the cheese and the sauce isn't it?
I don't know what they used to make theirs, but it's REALLY GOOD. Best yet, they give a generous amount of them and pretty much every dish some with that orange sauce.
This dish is called Rolling. I love thick cut fries and was really happy when the food was served.
#littlethingsinlifetosmileabout

The meatballs have the strong beefy taste. Some people tend to like that taste, and some don't.
So, whether you will like it or not, I have no idea. My friend and I enjoyed it though.
Ah.. Just Nice. Exactly as the name says so.
I enjoyed the burger. The patty is fat and thick. Though, covered by the egg in this picture.
The sauce has a really strong taste too.

That is all I have to say. May your tummy always be filled with love. Bye!

Paddington House Of Pancakes, The Curve, Mutiara Damansara, Malaysia

It's all about the PANCAKES!
About all the yummylicious pancakes from the Paddington House Of Pancakes!
 Cheerful colourful chairs!

A pretty cool place to chill.
Anyways, enough about the environment, here's what you've been waiting for!
Food! Drinks! Food! Drinks! Foooooooood!
The Affogato served in Paddignton Pancakes!
For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a scoop of vanilla ice cream served in coffee! I don't really fancy coffee that much, but I LOVE vanilla! Anything with vanilla always has a higher chance of being picked off the menu for me.
Their 'Sinful Chocolate' as they call it. I was expecting a very chocolatey drink. Something that's really thick and heavy to drink. But, surprisingly, it turned out to be more light and milky.
Don't stop yourself from ordering it just cause of what I said above though, I really enjoyed the drink though it's light and milky. I really really liked it. The whip cream is not the sweet kind, but also the milky kind. It blends well with the chocolate and the drink goes along perfectly with the yummy pancakes!
Banana And Bacon Pancake

This was what my friend ordered. It's called 'Banana And Bacon'. It comes with bananas, a huge pineapple in the middle of the pancake, and bacon.
They served the dish together with salad, sour cream as well as some sort of a caramel mix.

This is my dish. It's called the Oslo. I would highly recommend this dish if you're a savory person. They say it's spicy mashed potato pancakes, but really, you don't have to worry about the spiciness. It isn't actually spicy at all. And the texture of the pancake is just awesome! Especially if you love mashed potatoes like me.
They topped the mashed potato pancakes with smoked salmon and zucchini.
The smoked salmon adds on a lot of taste to the food.Yum!

I would say this dish is simply awesome. Why? Because they have pretty much everything I love. Mashed potatoes (pancake), salmon, eggs... how can one not love eggs? The scrambled eggs by the side has a mix of tomatoes and mushrooms in them too. It's pretty filling. I actually couldn't finish them all and donated some to the hungry tummy sitting opposite me. Must be the mashed potatoes that took up all the space.

Dessert! It came free with a Bcard we registered on the spot. Only available for a certain period of time I believe. We had 3 sides of the menu to choose from and boy, was it hard to decide! Everything looks sooooooo good!!
Our dessert was a thin crepe filled with peanut & chocolate (You can't see the peanut & chocolate because it's covered by the top layer of the crepe). A few slices of peach, some sliced pineapples, two fried bananas and two scoops of VANILLA ice cream sat on top. Then, it's finished with a puffylicious dose of milky whipped cream. This time, the whip creamed was drizzled with caramel. Yum!
I really don't wish to waste food, but both of our nomming capacity was filled to the very tippety top of our tummies! So yeah, we wasted a tinsy bit of dessert?
And me being me once again, just had to spread the leftover caramel dip into a smiley face with a message for the workers there.
That's all for this post! Thanks for dropping by. Details are stated below.
