Euro Deli Grill & Restaurant @ Damansara Kim, PJ , Matterhorn Burger Eating Challenge, Malaysia

Hey people! Here's a little view on Euro Deli's Matterhorn Burger Eating Challenge!
Before we go there, here's a peek on their menu of the other things available there.

Looks pretty good huh? I've tried three of their dishes before and found it really good.
This is one of them. The flavour from the meat is really strong. I would say it somewhat 'burst' in your mouth. There's a dish serving only sausages. Some of you may think that it's just sausages, like me previously, but trust me, it's really really good! I never thought of ordering that before, but my friend did. I tried and fell in love. A good dish for sharing among friends.

For the Matterhorn Burger Challenge, you are required to fill in a form. It looks something like this :

*IMPORTANT* Kindly take note that you also have to call Euro Deli and inform them that you wish to take the challenge a couple of days in advance. This gives them time to prepare the burger. It's not everyday that they make those giant burgers.

The burger itself cost Rm80++. If you manage to chomp down that burger within 45minutes (No leftover of vegetables, cheese, patty, bread or any part of the burger should remain on the plate), you win a cash reward of Rm100. A lot of people got featured on their special board - the board labeled 'Hall Of Shame'. So far, only three person (since I went - 2013) ever got into the Hall Of Fame. Surprisingly, they were all really skinny.

Let me show you how huge the burger is...
Can't really tell? Here's another picture...
 The burger consist of :
11 slices of Swiss cheese together with generous slices of tomatoes, gherkins, bacon, lettuce and a 1.5kg of pork patty topped with special burger sauce tucked in a homemade bun.
We used the burger for a birthday celebration.
It was pretty fun.
The ginormous burger.
You can find their video on the Matterhorn Burger here!

Personal opinion on the Matterhorn Burger. Apparantly, their burger bun actually taste pretty good! It's buttered on the inside, a lightly burnt for a crispy side yet soft inside. The meat on the other hand, taste very much like what people call the luncheon meat that comes in a can. It's very salty (probably a strategy to make you feel thirsty, drink water & get full I assume?) and extremely thick. Soft though. My suggestion is to eat the meat together with the veg given together.

Well, that is all. Good luck! ;)
